A Letter from Nick & Sarah
Hello! We’re high-school sweethearts who love to stay active and spend time with our loved ones, who all live nearby. It’s always been our dream to be parents together, and we truly believe that adoption is the way for us to grow our family. We’re so excited to adopt our first child!
We have a fun, loving home life, with supportive families, a strong faith, and stable careers that will give us plenty of time for our child. Our hearts are already excited about the adventures we will get to share with a child one day. We will be there for you and your baby, in whatever ways you are comfortable, and look forward to getting to know you.
About Us
We have been happily married for 14 years! We always hoped to raise a big family, and after going through challenges having a baby, we believe that God has led us to adoption. We are so excited to become parents!
Together we enjoy:
• Being active outdoors, like running and biking
• Going to the movies
• Walking our dog
About Sarah
I love that Sarah is full of life and ready to get out and have fun! She is usually the first person out on the dance floor. When relaxing at home, she loves to read, bake, and knit. Sarah has carried on her great-aunt’s tradition by knitting a Christmas stocking for all new family members.
Sarah always works hard in everything she does! I am proud of her work as a nurse; her care and compassion truly come through in the way she helps her patients. I know she will be an amazing mother, and that she eagerly anticipates sharing her love of learning with a child.
About Nick
I’ve always admired Nick’s willingness to help, and the easy way he makes me laugh. He is extremely supportive and great with children. I love to watch him play with our nieces and nephew. Nick is very smart; having studied computer science in college, he is now a supervisor at an organization where they build flight simulators!
Nick enjoys watching movies, doing projects around the house, and playing sports, such as soccer and basketball. As a dad, he will share his skills and interests with our children. I know Nick will be a fun, involved father, and I look forward to raising a family with him.
Our Home in Illinois
We live in a spacious two-story, four bedroom home, in a beautiful neighborhood in Illinois. Our subdivision is very family friendly, with people of all ages, including other families with children. We have a bedroom ready for a child; as well as a basement and a large back yard to play in.
We also have a dog, Missy, who is our sweet German Shepherd mix.
Our Family
We are very close with both sides of our family, and so lucky that they live nearby! Nick’s family has always gathered to celebrate birthdays and holidays, which is a tradition we happily carry on. We get together with our families often to visit and play games. We love this time with our parents, siblings, nieces, and nephew. Being together as a family is important to us all.
Nick’s mom ran a home day care, but has since retired to be available for her grandchildren. She will be delighted to be Nana to another little one. Sarah’s mom is a retired teacher and is looking forward to spending time with a new grandchild as well.
Our families are all excited, and so supportive, about our plans to adopt!
Our Promise
We promise to be there for your child, to encourage him or her in a safe, loving home, with laughter and all of our support. We promise your child will be loved, by us and our whole family, and raised to know how much God loves him or her. We will share our values in faith and education, and provide opportunities for your child to pursue his or her dreams and interests.
We would love for your child to know you and we promise to honor the level of on-going contact you want to have after adoption. We would be honored to get to know you through this journey, and carry on a friendship with you, if you desire. We promise to raise your child to be proud of how we came together through adoption.
We’re praying for you and your baby and we’d love to hear from you. To connect with us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
Thinking of you, Nick & Sarah

Faith | Our Catholic faith is important to us as a couple. When we met, it was a huge blessing that we already had religion in common.
