¡Hola! We are Abraham & Lourdes, a loving, Hispanic couple from Southeast Michigan. We are so excited to be starting this journey to adopt a child. We have been together for 8 years, and we have always known that we wanted to be parents. We both have successful careers, and we live in a beautiful home in a safe and friendly neighborhood.
We are hoping for a child/children to love and nurture. We believe that adoption is a beautiful way to build a family, and we are committed to providing our child/children with a loving and stable home. We are so grateful for the opportunity to adopt a child, and we can’t wait to meet you!

About Us
We met through a mutual friend about 10 years ago in Michigan. We were both immediately drawn to each other’s sense of humor and our shared love of travel and culture. We’ve always known that we wanted to be parents. It has been quite a journey that made us realize that adoption was the perfect way for us to build a family.
We love spending time together as a couple. We enjoy hiking, going to the movies, trying new restaurants, and traveling. We’re also big fans of spending time with family and friends, as well as hosting events at our lovely home. We’re looking forward to sharing our love and our lives with our child. We can’t wait to teach them about the world, show them all the amazing things that life has to offer, and watch them grow into a kind, compassionate, and loving person.
Meet Lourdes
Abraham says: Lourdes is a kind, compassionate, and loving woman. She is always willing to help others, and she has a heart of gold. She is also a very intelligent and creative person. She works in Finance & Accounting. She loves her job because she gets to help people every day. She also enjoys the challenge of her work, and she is always learning new things. Lourdes is looking forward to teaching her child about the world. She wants to share her love of learning with her child, and help her child grow into a kind, compassionate, and loving person. Lourdes is a wonderful woman, and we know that she will be an amazing mother. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our family!

Meet Abraham
Lourdes says: Abraham has a great sense of humor and is always willing to help out others. He is also a very intelligent and hardworking person. He works in Engineering & Program Management. As part of his job, he enjoys testing out new vehicles and guiding engineers in ways to solve problems to improve vehicle design and integrity. Every day is a different challenge. Abraham is looking forward to playing different sports with his child, recreating fun memories and experiences that he had with his dad. He will also teach his child about history, math, and science. Abraham will be a great father, as he has great role models in his life who will also be involved with our future child/children.
Abraham’s hobbies and interests:
• Playing & watching sports — Soccer, Baseball & American Football
• Barbecue — US/Mexican/Argentinian style
• Museums — Especially related to Science & History
• Traveling — National & Abroad
• Walking Bruno (our dog) around the neighborhood
• Spending time with family and friends
Our Family
Our extended family is a close-knit group of people who love and support each other. We live in different parts of the country and around the globe, but we make an effort to stay in touch and see each other as often as we can. We use video chat, phone calls, and social media to stay connected, and we try to visit each other at least once a year (if not more!). They are all very supportive of our plans to adopt. They are excited for us to become parents, and they have been very helpful in the adoption process. They have offered us advice and support.
We have many traditions that we look forward to sharing with our child. We love to spend the holidays together while preparing delicious food and long-lasting memories. We are excited to create new traditions with our child and to pass on the traditions that we love from our own families. We know that our child will be loved and supported by our extended family, and we can’t wait to see all the traditions that we will create together.
Our Home in Michigan
We live in a 4-bedroom home in Southeast Michigan. Our home is within walking distance to a suburban downtown and city park area, which is a great place for us to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Our home is also close to several schools, parks, and museums. We are so grateful for our home and our neighborhood. We know that it will be a wonderful place for our child/children to grow up.
A few things about where we live:
• We live in a two-story home with an attached garage, and a finished basement for extra space to play during the wintertime.
• The backyard is fenced in, which is perfect for Bruno (our dog) and our future children. We love spending time in the backyard!
• We love being able to walk to the downtown area for coffee, lunch, or dinner.
• There are several parks in our neighborhood, including City Park, which is a great place to play with Bruno or have a picnic.
• There are also several museums in our county, including an Art & Historical Museum.
• We are surrounded by natural beauty in our neighborhood.
• Schools and a public library are within walking distance.

| About Our Pet-Bruno | Bruno (our dog) is patient and loving, and is always happy to see us. He loves to play fetch and go for walks, and he is always up for an adventure. We know that our child/children will love playing with Bruno, and he will teach them the importance of responsibility and compassion. We also believe that Bruno will help our child/children to learn about the importance of nature. Bruno loves to explore the outdoors, and playing with him will teach our child/children about the different plants and animals that they see.
